Former President Donald Trump’s podcast blitz ahead of next month’s Nov. 5 Presidential election is set to continue with an appearance alongside WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker. Polls are razor-thin across several swing states, with the former President hoping to defeat sitting Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump has turned his attention toward podcasts and popular shows to reach potential undecided voters, particularly young men. He has appeared alongside streamer Adin Ross, The Nelk Boys, “Flagrant” alongside comedian Andrew Schulz, “Bussin with the Boys,” Theo Von, and PBD.
There have been hints that Trump could appear on “The Joe Rogan Experience” but that’s yet to be officially confirmed in the weeks leading up to the Presidential election. However, Trump already has his next show lined up alongside a familiar face.
He will appear on WWE legend The Undertaker’s “Six Feet Under” podcast. The pair know each other from Trump’s stint in WWE earlier this century when he was locked in a “Battle of the Billionaires” with disgraced figure Vince McMahon.
According to Politico, The Undertaker – real name Mark Calaway – will welcome Trump onto his platform and it’s a crossover social media users were not expecting. “I mean… Trump is in the WWE Hall of Fame,” one X user tweeted. “The goat interviewing the goat,” another said.
“This is a crossover I never even imagined in my wildest dreams…” a third added. However, some have been left seething by The Undertaker’s expected hosting of Trump. “I miss when we knew nothing about Mark Calaway and Glen Jacobs [ex-performer Kane, who’s now the Republican Mayor of Knox County],” one slammed.
DON’T MISS…
One of the most popular responses focused on people respecting each other’s right to freedom of thought and speech. The user passionately said: “I don’t understand why people get so offended over others’ political choices. Everyone picks a politician they support, like Batista choosing Kamala Harris, and Undertaker going with Donald Trump.
“The mature thing to do is respect their choice, even if you disagree. Sure, you can try to discuss it, but nothing you say will likely change their mind. So, there’s no need to get upset or lose sleep over it.”
Trump’s ties to the McMahons and WWE run deep. So deep that Vince McMahon’s wife, Linda, was part of the former President’s cabinet and served as the 25th Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Linda McMahon resigned from her role in April 2019 before transitioning to chair America First Action, a pro-Trump Super PAC. Previously, she ran as a Republican nominee for a United States Senate seat in Connecticut but lost both bids in 2010 and 2012.
