1976 Centurion Super Elite Road Race Bike 23" 58cm Frame Fork L' Erotica Chrome!

Here's a rare vintage 1976 Centurion Super Elite road bike frameset.  It measures 23" from center of bottom bracket to top of top tube.  Full Tange Champion chrome moly butted tubing.  It is in good structural shape with arrow straight stays and good English threading in the bottom bracket and 1" headtube.  It has a 120c rear axle spread and a 100c front axle spread.  The elegant chrome drops and tips are solid and strong.  The fork has very good straight blades and a structurally strong crown.  I could not detect any dents, bends, cracks, or brutal rust-out.  The stay and fork blade chrome is in decent shape with just a touch of pitting--but not bad!  The black paint probably suffered the most with a myriad of scratching, rub areas, and scuffs.  They're hard to see in the small photos.  A patient airbrush and hand work could probably do some presentable paint work to dress it up.  Gotta love those gold pinstriped lugs, all around!  The OEM stickers show age too, and some are missing.    Not much for rust on this Colorado high desert climate frame.  These ol' Centurions are regarded for their quality build up work and great rideability!   These were light, great handling, race or day tour bikes, and were handsome lookers as well.  They were also fairly expensive and hard to find these days.
