    Description

    The former St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company, known as the "Frisco" railroad, served nine states in the US Mid-American region. Its two main lines were between Kansas City-Memphis-Birmingham and between St. Louis-Tulsa-Oklahoma City. It operated between 1876-1980, when it was acquired by the Burlington Northern. Its surviving lines are now operated primarily by the BNSF. For auction is a desk calendar from the Frisco for the year 1970. It measures appx 9 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches and is printed on medium-weight cardstock. The front shows the Frisco logo, motto, and the wheels of a freight train. The back side is blank.
