Handsome fold-out 1961 Texaco road map of Colorado, printed more than 60 years ago.
This map opens to 27" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
There are inset plans of Rocky Mountain National Park, the Colorado Springs-Pikes Peak region, and Denver and vicinity.
The map was distributed by Texaco in 1961 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 8-II.
The cover artwork includes a Texaco gas station and sign, and the slogan on the front is "Texaco...In All 50 States and In Canada Too."
Condition:
This map is in very good, lightly used condition, with tiny breaks on a couple of the fold corners and
no
